St. Michael Lutheran Church Breaks Ground on Expansion Project

Recently, our team, alongside construction partner Weigand Construction, celebrated the groundbreaking of St. Michael Lutheran Church’s “His Kingdom First” project, surrounded by a strong turnout from the church’s congregation.

The event brought together congregation members, project partners, and the community for a gathering hosted by Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Dennis Goff. Remarks were shared to mark the occasion and recognize those who have played a role in advancing the project to this milestone.

This next chapter will transform the campus with approximately 15,350 square feet of additions and 19,040 square feet of interior renovations. The work is designed to create a more cohesive, welcoming, and flexible environment to support worship, connection, and daily church life.

New spaces will include administrative offices, a secure vestibule, meeting rooms, locker rooms, and a fellowship and cafeteria area connected to the gymnasium. Expanded music and choir areas will provide dedicated rehearsal and storage space, while interior renovations will enhance Luther Hall, classrooms, and family-focused amenities. Site improvements will further support circulation, parking, and overall accessibility.

This milestone reflects the dedication of many who have helped bring the project to life, and we are grateful to continue partnering with St. Michael Lutheran Church on the journey ahead.
