Elevatus Architecture worked to create a flagship location for Team Quality Services. With collaboration in mind, we assembled the design of the building found in the heart of downtown Auburn, Indiana. As the Architect of Record, it was imperative to develop a project that was designated to create a hub for creatvity and innovation. This building was amongst several other downtown buildings. The interest behind the growth and connectivity of Auburn, led to establishing spaces inside the building’s interior that focused on important components of the town.
The first floor consists of mix-used space to host retail businesses — a bank occupies one of the corner spots now. Entering from the 1st floor, you’ll get a feel as to the design being unique to the building. A corporate HQ doesn’t need to be just office space, but a place where happy employees can call home.
Several spaces in this building are utilized to create teamwork and fulfill integral daily tasks. Office space was designed for employees and their managers. Corner offices were also placed to make for beautiful views of the downtown area. The exposed bricks amongst the shared walls of the neighboring buildings represent a kinship with preservation. The industrial feel as you branch out to the workspaces features acoustical ceiling clouds. Natural light is nothing to underestimate within this beautiful development. Glass-plated windows complemented the design and made for the building being wrapped with 7 ft. tall windows — some of the largest available in the market. A unique twist, an out-of-the-box design.
