Summit Hall is a mixed use building on the north end of Indiana Tech’s campus located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It combines public retail space on the main level with single occupant dorms on the second through fourth floors.
As part of the design-build team, Elevatus designed the four story building with three retail spaces totaling more than 8,000 square feet on the main level, a student lounge, and a Hall Director apartment unit. The retail spaces were designed to accommodate a variety of tenants from a small convenience store, a coffee shop, or a brewpub. The 2nd through 4th floors house 33 single-occupant dorm rooms each, with amenities including a community living area and kitchenette on each floor and a small study room. Laundry rooms were available on each floor as well.
