Elevatus Designer Elected to National AIA Leadership Role

Elevatus Architectural Designer Jacob Chavez has been elected to serve as AIA Indiana’s State Associate Representative (STAR) on the AIA National Associates Committee (NAC).

The appointment gives Jacob a seat at the table where national conversations about the future of the architecture profession are taking place. As Indiana’s associate representative, he will serve as a liaison between associate AIA members across the state and AIA National, helping communicate Indiana’s priorities while connecting emerging professionals with resources, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and professional development programs.

The National Associates Committee serves as the voice of AIA associate members nationwide. Made up of representatives from every state and territory, the committee helps shape initiatives that support the next generation of architects and strengthen the profession.

In his new role, Jacob will provide feedback on how AIA can better serve associate members, advocate for issues related to licensure and career development, and encourage greater engagement among emerging professionals throughout Indiana.
