Elevatus Architecture Again Ranked Top 10 Nationwide in Justice Design for 2025

For the third consecutive year, Elevatus has been recognized among the nation’s top justice facility architecture firms by Building Design+Construction. In BD+C’s 2025 Giants 400 Report, Elevatus earned the No. 8 spot on the list of the largest justice design firms in the country.

This ranking reflects an active and growing justice portfolio spanning local, state, and federal projects across the United States. Our work includes county jails, large-scale state correctional campuses, and complex federal facilities, each designed to meet today’s operational demands while remaining adaptable for the future.

Among our most visible projects is the new Allen County Jail, a critical investment in public safety for our home community. At the state level, we are leading the design of the $1.2 billion Westville State Prison for the Indiana Department of Correction, a transformative campus that will replace aging facilities and support modern correctional operations. At the federal scale, our team is designing the FCI Leavenworth replacement campus, a significant undertaking that balances security, staff efficiency, and long-term flexibility.

Justice design is complex, demanding work. It requires technical precision, deep operational understanding, and a human-centered mindset that never loses sight of the people who live and work inside these facilities. To see that work acknowledged on a national stage, year after year, reinforces that our approach is making a difference and reflects the trust placed in us by our clients.

Being ranked No. 8 nationally for justice design in 2025 is a proud moment for our firm. It belongs to the clients who entrust us with complex, high-stakes projects, and to the team whose expertise, integrity, and dedication make this work possible.

From Fort Wayne to facilities across the country, we remain focused on what matters most. Designing places that work. Serving clients with care. And continuing to prove that thoughtful, principled design can compete at the highest level.

That is what it means to be Designed to Do More.
