When Lochmueller Group’s Fort Wayne team began to outgrow its office, the search for a new space wasn’t just about adding square footage. It was about finding a location that matched their momentum and supported their evolving way of working. With continued growth ahead, the team needed room to expand, better options for collaboration, and a setting that energized their day-to-day.
The Electric Works campus checked every box, offering both convenience and character, with restaurants, services, and amenities just steps away.
To bring their vision to life within a historic industrial setting, Lochmueller turned to Elevatus. As the lead designer behind the campus-wide historic renovation and with prior experience designing other offices within the same building, Elevatus brought a deep understanding of how to balance preservation requirements with modern workplace needs.
The design team guided the client through the possibilities of the space, helping them make smart design decisions that embraced the building’s charm while supporting functionality. The result is an office space that feels tailored to how Lochmueller works. The layout introduces a range of environments, from team collaboration zones to focused single-user touch-down spaces. The scale of the building allowed for openness, light, and impressive views, all while preserving the integrity of the historic structure.
Lochmueller Group’s new office at Electric Works meets a need, but also reflects intention, identity, and an exciting chapter for a team on the rise.
