There are many sun peaks accommodation options and after vacationing at the mountain several times, we found the ski-in/ski-out style of lodging to be the best way to visit Sun Peaks.
Accommodations:
The townhouse is located in the TrappersLanding development and has 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, family room and 3 full bathrooms! It is slopeside at the resort just above a lift so it is defnitely “ski-in, ski-out”. There is a hot tub outside for apres ski. The master bedroom and other upstairs bedroom both have king size beds and ensuite bathrooms. The 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of bunkbeds and the 2nd floor has a bathroom as well. There is a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room and also one in the family room. The townhouse will sleep 12 people comfortably. Sun Peaks Resort:
Sun Peaks is a fantastic ski resort with 3600 acres of terrain, light
dry snow, and lots of sun! There are currently 117 runs with more
to be developed in the near future. Although it is second only to
Whistler/Blackcomb in B.C., overall, it would best be described as
a more mellow and less crowded version of W/B. Please click on the following links to review the

There are also many other winter activities to enjoy: sledding, tubing,
dogsleds, skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross country skiing
to name a few. There is a pedestrian village that has several restaurants
and shops in a Tyrolean setting. And as far as the rest of the year
– there is mountain biking, hiking, lakes, a brand new golf
course and lots of beautiful scenery in every direction.
