This
summer, our Keep Cool ENERGY STAR Sweepstakes gave New Yorkers a chance
to win the grand prize of a $3,000 ENERGY STAR shopping spree, courtesy
of SEARS! From April 1 through August 31, thousands of New Yorkers went
to GetEnergySmart.org where
they signed up for the chance to win amazing prizes.
Congratulations Bina Valenzano!
This year’s grand prize winner was Brooklyn resident Bina Valenzano.
First and second place winners from across the State took home an assortment
of ENERGY STAR-labeled prizes. New York State Energy Research and Development
Authority (NYSERDA) offers a huge thank you to SEARS
for providing the $3,000 grand prize. Thanks also to Panasonic and GE for
their donation of second-place prizes. Finally, thanks to everyone who entered
the contest! Together, we’re saving energy and money—and helping
the environment.
